I had a dream last night that I was in a building that kept morphing between a place of work, a school, and a movie theater. It was mostly empty and it was dark outside and I needed to leave somewhere, but the Democrats, in an effort to push green energy, had banned all cars and all anyone had were bicycles. I was having a really hard time getting anywhere I needed to go and I couldn't see what I was doing, so I went back inside and found my boss/the principal/the manager (depending on which type of building it was at the time) to complain. He was standing there with Nancy Pelosi and I started angrily griping about how fed up I was with their green energy policies and how replacing cars with bicycles for everyone would never work. Boy, I was really pissed off in that dream, too. I think it was a "final straw" moment. Nancy Pelosi laughed in my face and said bluntly, "Cars are never coming back." I think it escalated into a shoving match and the principal-manager-boss-dude threatened to call the police on me. I whirled on him and shouted, "Well, there's plenty of time to kick your asses while they BIKE HERE!"
Then I woke up.
I think I blame Captain Planet for this.

Here is an interesting question for you...
Even if you're not an artist, or you don't take commissions, imagine for a moment that you are and you do.
If you were to accept a commission from someone and they were directing you to draw a substandard piece, what would you do? Maybe they were insistent that you change part of the anatomy that is correct to something that is incorrect (for example, perhaps they are insistent that one of the legs would look better turned or bent in a direction a leg just can't bend, or something similar that isn't a stylistic thing, but an anatomical impossibility.)
In short, it is a request that would make the drawing look bad and incorrect, but the comm
My Halloween Story
When I was a kid, I used to love Halloween. It used to be one of my absolute favorite holidays, and I'll tell you why: For a week at least before the actual day, TV stations would play loads of classic '80s horror movies like Friday 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Jason, and so forth. We would all tell each other scary stories during camp-outs at night, and put on spectacular Halloween celebrations at school.
We would turn the stage in our elementary school cafeteria into a mini-haunted house, the "rooms" separated by curtains. Kids were invited to stick their hands into boxes with labels like "eyeballs" that were really just a
Who are you people?
So now that deviantART has let people change their usernames, I no longer recognize from whom half the art I get in my inbox comes. I can't keep all these name changes straight. When I recognized the name, I knew the personality behind the image. Now, they could be anyone... ◕n◕
Calling All Gamers!
Wow, where have I been? My last journal was months ago. Well, since Guild Wars 2* came out, my life has been a bit of a blur. Days have faded into nights, and nights, into day. I'm not even sure what year it is any more, to be honest.
However, all these games I've been playing lately have got me thinking. In many games, you can name your character whatever you want, but the people of the realm address you by a common title, such as "hero." In Dragon Age: Origins, you were "The Grey Warden." In Mass Effect, you were "Commander Shepard." On the other hand, I have played a couple of games before (now these are very
